Do I need a Cal Tool account to shop on the site?
How do I register to have an account online?
There are 3 ways to register for an account online. If you already have a terms account with California Tool & Welding Supply you can register using your Account number and your email address.
If you would like to open a terms account with us there is a tab labelled NEW COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT that will take you to our Experian Credit Application page and you can apply there.
If you would just like a cash account to track purchases both in the store and online, then there is a tab labelled NEW RETAIL CUSTOMER ACCOUNT.
Once registered you will receive a welcome letter with your credentials.
Can I pay with Credit Card?
For a terms account your online orders will be processed according to your terms and preference in the system. For all other accounts you can pay with credit card. Payments against invoices can be made with either credit card or ACH/Electronic Check payment options.
Who can I talk to about pricing and availability?
Please reach out to your local sales rep or local branch for questions about your pricing. You can locate that information on the Locations tab of the site. If you are unsure you can always call our corporate location at 951-686-7822.
How do I find products?
The best way to find products is through our universal search bar at the top of every page. You can search part numbers, manufacturers, and product categories.
Why can’t I find X Product?
Our Ecommerce site is brand new and we are busy loading products to the page as quickly as we can. If you need something that you don’t see listed please call a local branch and we can assist you.
How do I cancel/change an order?
If you need to cancel or change an order please contact your local branch or our corporate office as soon as possible.
I forgot my login information. What do I do?
Click on the My Account Sign In/Register button on the site and select “Forgot Password”.
Can I ship product to my job site?
Online orders are shipped to addresses that are set up by you and validated with the credit card companies. If your job site has a specific ship to that is not already setup in our system then you can reach out to our Accounting team at [email protected] and get that corrected.
Can I place an order for same day pickup/delivery?
If you have a current account with us we will working towards same day pickup and delivery when selected and paid for in the cart. We are working towards adding many different shipping opportunities and will continue to update our site often to offer our customers the best options.
